Google’s new Password Checkup
If you use Google Chrome as a browser, Google has a new tool available. Do you ever think about all of the passwords that you have asked Chrome to store for you? If so, you should take a look. Go to https://passwords.google.com/intro. You will need to sign into your Google account. If you are using a gmail address, that is your Google account. Be sure to click on Password Checkup. The tool will scan your passwords and then generate a report that identifies reused passwords, compromised passwords, and weak passwords. If you don’t do anything else, it would be beneficial to at least go down the list and delete the passwords for sites you may not even be using. You will see 3 dots in a vertical line on the far right of each website listed. There you will find the delete button. The tool also gives you the opportunity to change your password.
