DO – Use a password manager – LastPass, Dashlane, KeePass – These allow users to generate complex passwords, manage them across all of your devices, and then use autofill on forms. Click here to read reviews on these managers.
DO – Stop using easy passwords like “password”, “123456”, or the likes. Try to think of an easy sentence, like “I took my dog for a walk” and use the first letter of each word – “itmdfaw”. Yes, often you need to capitalize or add a number. Another suggestion is to capitalize the last letter in the password or maybe even one in the middle. You CAN be creative while still keeping it easier to remember.
DO – If you are going to store your passwords on your computer, either password protect the document (if you are using Word for example) or give the file a name other than “passwords”. There is NOTHING wrong with making a list of your passwords. Just make sure you update them as they change.

Blocking political posts on Facebook
No matter your political preferences, there is no doubt that we have been in overload the past year and it isn’t going to get better any time soon. If you don’t want to ignore social media completely, there are several browser add-ons that will help get rid of the political fees. Here are a couple of them.
1. If you use Google Chrome as a browser, this add-on would remove only politics-related posts. Remove All Politics From Facebook installs a simple switch in your browser. If you want to hear the unfiltered voice of the American people—at least the ones in your Facebook feed—flick the switch to “on.” If you don’t, toggle it to “off.” The developer doesn’t say how the add-on identifies which posts are political and which aren’t, but my best guess is that it filters according to keywords and names. There’s no way to customize the filter, but if you want a set-it-and-forget-it solution, this one works. Chrome only.
2. Like Remove All Politics From Facebook, Social Fixer also blocks political posts from your feed, but it gives you a little more latitude in how they’re filtered.
Social Fixer adds a wrench icon to Facebook’s toolbar. To customize your feed, click it, select Social Fixer Options and scroll down to Filters. If you just want to impose a sweeping moratorium on all political posts, enable Election/Politics 2016 from the list of predefined filters. This will hide posts about anything related to the recent presidential election.
