Reject calls with a text – On most phones, this option is available in the Phone app > Settings, and labeled Call blocking, Quick responses, or something similar. You’ll see the call-reject messages that you can edit with your own writing style.
Quickly open the camera – It varies for different phones, but here are 2:
Samsung devices 2015-2016: double-tap the physical Home button.
LG V10: double-tap the volume down button
· Add contact widgets – Want to reach out to your favorite people with just a tap? Press and hold on your Home screen, choose Widgets, and then look for the Contacts 1×1 widget. The steps to take if liquid spills on your laptop
Immediately, make sure your hands and the laptop’s power button are dry.
Power off the computer by holding down the power button.
If plugged in, remove it from the wall socket.
Remove the battery if it is removable.
Unplug anything else that is plugged in – a mouse, cable, flash drive, etc…
IF possible, remove anything that can be removed easily – memory, hard drive, etc…
If the liquid was something that dries sticky, sugared drink, you may need to send it out for a professional cleaning, but if it is just water, you have a chance of drying it out yourself.
First, dry the outside thoroughly with a towel. Then clear off a table and put a fresh towel over it. Open the laptop as wide as you can, so that the screen and keyboard are on the same plane. Then put it, face and keyboard down, on that towel-covered table. Leave it there for at least a couple of hours so that the water can drip out.
