Google chrome has always been my favorite browser, but it hasn’t always been without some issues. There is a new version out and I suggest you update the one you are using, or do a new installation. Here are some new features:
You can customize your toolbar by clicking on the 3 vertical dots at the top right, then choosing More Tools, Customize Chrome. First you can change the appearance and you will see 15 different color combinations, and then click on Toolbar. I personally added a print button and also a key indicating the password manager. There are 19 options. I am sure I will be adding more in the future.
Google Lens in Chrome makes it easy to search anything you see on your screen. Search within a video you’re watching, a slide in a livestream, or an image on a webpage. Google Lens will give you answers right there, in your tab, and you can continue browsing with the new information you’ve found.
Open the Chrome menu.
Select Search with Google Lens .
Select anything on the page by clicking and dragging anywhere on the page.
Refine the answers by typing in the search box in the side panel.
For quicker access, click Pin in the side panel to add the icon to your toolbar.
I pulled up a desk I have been looking at. The side panel showed me many similar desk, pricing, etc… This is a great new tool.

iPhone Storage
Your iPhone has a limited amount of storage space based upon the model/capacity that you purchased. Do not confuse the storage of the phone with the space alloted for your iCloud files/photos. There are places to check usage for both of these. You can pay extra for iCloud space, but not for iPhone storage. Here is how to check on the iPhone’s storage:
Settings – General – iPhone Storage
You will first see a chart showing the capacity and the usage. There will also be some features to help eliminate used space. Then you will see something similiar to this picture:
Once you see the size of your apps, you can decide if any of them can be deleted to increase your available space. To check your iCloud storage, go to Settings, then click on your name at the top of the screen where it says” Apple Account“. A little further down the page you should see iCloud with your capacity ( 5 GB is given to you free. For $.99 a month, you can get 50 GB). This screen should show you everything you need to know about your iCloud storage space.
