Improving your cellphone signal
If you are experiencing dropped calls no matter where you are – outside, in your office or home, there are a few things to try for improvement. These suggestions are for Android or Apple mobile phones, and they are across the board for all the different cell service providers. Also, keep your software on the phone up to date. This first idea is the first thing to try and if that doesn’t work, move on down the list.
Turn Airplane Mode off, wait a few seconds and then turn it back on. If Airplane Mode doesn’t help, you may want to turn your phone off and then back on.
Step away from metal objects or concrete walls. If possible move towards a window.
Remove your phone case.
Make sure your phone is charged. Searching for and connecting to a stronger signal drains power. If your battery is low, you may have a difficult time getting a better signal.
If the problem is only in your home or office, investing in a signal booster could really help. They aren’t expensive, but can really make a difference. I would first check with your cell service provider, not the internet/wifi provider.
