How to remove your login password from Windows 10
I don’t necessarily suggest the idea of NOT having to log into your computer is a great idea as it removes one level of security, but if you are sure that no one will ever touch your pc, here is how to remove the password and eliminate that step.
This process works with Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro. First, click the Windows 10 Start menu and type netplwiz into the Search bar and select that program. After launching that program, you will see a window with 2 tabs – Users and Advanced. On the Users tab, you will see the following:
Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.
Make sure the box in front of that sentence is unchecked. If there are more than one user accounts on the computer, make sure your name is highlighted. When you click Apply, it will prompt you for your current password. Enter it twice and that is it! Next time you reboot, you should no longer have to put in a password.
