1. Automatically delete verification codes sent to you via text or email- When you sign into an application that uses 2 factor authentication, you will receive an email or text with a code to enter. This is happening more and more to make sure it is you for security purposes. These texts/emails start adding up. Instead of deleting them one at a time, there is an easier way if your iPhone is using iOS 17. Navigate to Settings – Passwords – Password Options. You will find a new option called Clean Up Automatically. This will automatically delete the codes after being used with the autofill feature that appears at the top of your keyboard.
2. In case you aren’t aware, prior to iOS 17 you’ve not be able to use Apple Maps offline, you have always needed internet access. Now you can offline a map when you don’t have service. In Maps, tap your profile photo in the top right of the navigation window and go into Offline Maps. Depending on where you drive most, you may see a suggested map to download, along with the size of the map, in case you don’t have much storage. You can also just hit Download New Map, type a city, manually adjust the map if needed and download it to your iPhone.

Unsubscribing from Spam
Questions about unsubscribing from spam emails are common. But how often have you clicked on the Unsubscribe link but you continue to receive them? I bought a gift from the nba.com store a year ago and yet they continue to come. If a company is reputable, unsubscribing should take care of it. If it is unsolicited spam, clicking Unsubscribe could make the situation worse.
If the email is from a random address, try the following:
For Outlook:
◾ Select the messages you want to report as junk.
◾ From the top toolbar, select Report > Report Junk.
For Apple Mail:
◾ On your iPhone or iPad, swipe left on the message, tap More, then Move to Junk.
◾ If you want to block an email address, enter the email address under Blocked senders and select Add. To block all emails from a domain, enter the domain name under Blocked Domains and select Add.
◾ Select Save.
